Areas We Cover Across London

When looking for professional cleaning services, ProLux Cleaning is your one-stop service provider. We perform at the top standard of the highest levels of the cleaning industry. For over a decade, we have been cleaning for the good people of London and the vicinity.

Our journey started in 2012, as a family run carpet cleaning company in Borehamwood. Initially, we were only local to Borehamwood and Watford, but after a bit of time, we started expanding our reach. We expanded to North London, and in no time at all started working in West and East London. Today, we have offices all around the capital, and cover every London postcode.

We work 7 days a week, inclusive of Bank Holidays, with zero added fees for appointments booked on those days or on weekends. Our professional cleaning technicians have full insurance and are certified by Prochem, WoolSafe and other cleaning associations. Each of them has undergone special training, and continues to attend new ones over time, so as to continue growing as a cleaning specialist.

We have at least one supervisor living in each of the major London regions. Our technicians are distributed throughout the city for optimal coverage. Same day cleaning services are offered to all our customers, and we always work around your schedule in terms of availability.

One of our specialists, Bobi, tends to be at the front of the workload in South London. Another representative, Mitko, is the customer choice for the Southeast area. Our expert Valentin is situated next to Central London, and our business partnerships are steadily growing thanks to him. And our supervisors Ivo and Tisho, when not managing the rest of the team, are often seen in East and West London respectively. North London is covered by Chris and Dimitar, and when it comes to outer areas, we always have someone to send.

Contact our polite and informative customer service assistants by ringing any one of our offices, situated throughout the capital. There will always be someone available to assist you when you are on the lookout for professional cleaning services!

Parking, Access and Getting to Your Door

Fourteen and a half thousand carpet jobs across 413 London postcode districts. That's how we know which streets take a van and which ones don't.

Parking, and when it shows on your bill

Nine times out of ten it doesn't. Parking appears on 9% of invoices across our London work, and where it does, it's charged at cost with the ticket attached.

Where it lands is entirely predictable. Chelsea SW3 is the worst in the city for us, with parking on nearly half of every job we run there. Notting Hill and Kensington sit just behind. Bayswater, Fulham, Camden and Canary Wharf all come in around a quarter to a third. Go out to Enfield, Harrow, Bexley or St Albans and it's zero, across hundreds of jobs, because there's kerb space and the controls are looser.

Most London cleaners either hide the charge until the invoice or quietly price it into everyone's quote, including the customer in EN2 with a driveway.

Controlled Parking Zones, permits and loading

Most of inner London sits inside a CPZ and the rules change road by road. Where there's a pay-and-display bay, our technician takes it. Where the bays run resident-only through the working day, a visitor permit is the only legal way to keep a van still for the length of a clean.

Loading rules are separate from parking rules, which is what catches people out. A single yellow line usually allows loading unless the kerb markings say otherwise, and marked loading bays run on limits measured in minutes. A carpet clean isn't a delivery. The van sits for the whole appointment, so a space that's legal for two hours beats a space by the front door.

Central London, the Congestion Charge and the ULEZ

Neither one reaches your invoice. ULEZ covers every borough out to the M25 now, so on paper it applies to nearly every job we do in London. We carry that ourselves. The Congestion Charge we stopped passing on back in 2022, and it hasn't appeared on a customer bill since.

What central London does cost is time. A job in W1 or EC2 gets a wider arrival window than one in Bromley, and that is down to the traffic, not the cleaning.

Narrow streets, stairs and lifts

Georgian mews, Victorian terraces and half of Fulham weren't built with vans in mind. No dropped kerb, bin day, a skip outside next door. Our technicians walk the kit in when the van has to sit further back, and that's ordinary rather than a problem.

Canary Wharf is our busiest single district in East London, and it's almost entirely towers. Concierge desks that log every visit, goods lifts booked out by a managing agent, service entrances round the back. Then there's the opposite case, the third-floor Victorian conversion in E8 with a staircase and no lift on the deeds. Stairs add time. That time goes into the booking rather than getting borrowed from whoever's next.

Why the slot matters

Parking controls, permit hours and traffic each run to their own timetable, and they don't line up. A quarter of our jobs start before ten in the morning, and in central postcodes it's closer to a third, because an early van beats both the enforcement window and the school run. Around a fifth of what we do falls at the weekend, when controls in a lot of residential zones stop applying altogether. We work seven days including bank holidays with no added fee, so the appointment gets timed around the street as much as around your diary.

Roughly two in five of our jobs are at an address we've cleaned before. Those customers already know how this works.
